Summarize the reasons and characteristics of the abnormal noise of the planetary reducer

来源: 发布日期:2019-5-27 9:20:07

  1. There is foreign body in the planetary reducer body: the abnormal sound is clear and irregular, mainly due to foreign matter (such as small parts, assembly tools, etc.) accidentally falling in during the assembly process of the reducer.

If the above situation occurs, the foreign objects should be removed and the gears should be inspected for damage.

  2. Large bearing clearance: the abnormal noise is clear, continuous, periodic, and increases with the increase in speed. The bearing is mainly composed of four parts: inner ring, outer ring, rolling element and cage.

Large bearing clearance means that the gap between the roller and the inner and outer rings is too large. When working, the rolling elements collide with the inner and outer rings, causing abnormal noise.

  3. Parts damage and fall off: The abnormal noise is clear and irregular. Because the planetary reducer often bears a large load impact, under the continuous action of the load, it will cause the damage and fall off of the bearings, gears and other parts.

The damaged part falls off in the body, causing abnormal noise. It is necessary to clean the falling parts of the parts in the body in time, and replace the damaged parts at the same time.

  4. The difference between the parts: the abnormal noise is turbid, continuous, and periodic; in general, the concentricity deviation between the parts will not affect the working performance of the product.

But this deviation exceeds the allowable range, it will produce abnormal noise, and even affect the service life of the reducer.

Because the parts of the planetary reducer are not concentric, the gear meshing is abnormal, the working load is unevenly distributed, and the unbalanced force is generated. Under the action of the unbalanced force, abnormal noise is generated.

  5. The gear side clearance is too large: this abnormal noise is turbid, usually occurs at the moment of start of the reducer, and disappears during continuous operation. When the gear meshes for transmission.

In order to form a lubricating oil film between the meshing tooth profiles and avoid jamming due to the friction and heat expansion of the gear teeth, there must be a gap between the tooth profiles. This gap is called the side gap.

The tooth side clearance of the planetary reducer is too small, and the heat expansion will cause the meshing gear to be stuck; but if the clearance is too large, a strong impact force will be generated at the moment of contact between the gear teeth, resulting in impact abnormal noise.
